Some lucky few humans seem born with an innate sense of purpose.  Tahnee Walters was obviously blessed by the Cookie Fairy at birth.  From the earliest age she played in the kitchen – making up recipes, doodling with dough and baking comforting treats for her family and friends.  She never learned to cook formally and she doesn’t think she’s ever followed a recipe in her life!  She just likes to play with food in the most creative and original way.  She likes to take sweet sensations to the outer limits.  Always a rebel, she is still pushing the boundaries – of taste! 

Tahnee’s a passionate foodie – she loves the sensual side of food, breathing in the aroma, toying with the texture and finally sampling the taste.  She sees cookies as the ultimate comfort food, the smell of fresh baking the perfect homecoming. 

And if all paths lead to Rome, then all Tahnee’s crazy paved career paths led her to creating The Spotted Cow Cookie Co. in 2003 just after she turned 30 and realised she could turn her passion into profit.  And so she started with just Sticky Date and grew a business from one revolutionary dessert cookie idea.

Today she supplies leading catering companies, corporations, event organisers, cafés and venues throughout NSW and has recently become a national concern.

Now she’s really cooking with gas!
